Sensaris and AMGlobal win Pepsi Refresh the Gulf grant for mobile health pioneering project in the USA.

   The companies are partnering to deploy a new service for seniors in the greater New Orleans area.Focusing first on diabetes, heart disease, and other chronic conditions, the teams will help citizens monitor their heart-rate, blood pressure and glucose levels using SensPacks, a groundbreaking mobile health system. Using GPS equipped scooters to get around easily, Moped Medical Monitoring (M3) teams will offer comprehensive health checks at Senior and Community Centers, and visit at-risk Seniors in their homes.

   M3 teams members will use backpacks (Senspacks) containing Bluetooth enabled glucometers, blood pressure monitor and pulse oxymeter along with cell phones for education, data capture and transmission to servers for web based applications.

The goal of this pioneering project is to demonstrate easy to deploy, user friendly , high ROI mobile centric care.
