People are starting to think of interesting ways of using City Senspods, and researchers are coming up with creative ideas for moving faster down the path to more sustainable cities. The “WearAir:An expressive T-Shirt for air quality sensing” is quite an innovative approach from Eric Paulos’ group at Carnegie Mellon University.
Since the Copenhagen conference was such a failure (are we surprised ?), it seems that progress will depend upon local initiatives. How about T-Shirts with Pinocchio’s face and LED’s showing longer and longer noses for the delegates at the next Climate summits……. ? Wouldn’t that be a fun way of mixing e-government, environment and entertainment ?
